Emma Kemsley
Our feisty and funny endometriosis columnist Emma Kemsley is a born survivor! Her bravely honest and often hilarious column “Emma vs Endo” charts her fight against this debilitating condition. Emma’s keen to point out that she’s working towards finding peace with her body and her symptoms “after spending so long hating my uterus for what it’s put me through”.
One of the goals of this column is to raise awareness of endometriosis. Patients have been misdiagnosed and even told that they’re imagining or exaggerating their symptoms for many years, and many still wait far too long for a diagnosis.
